Desk pt 3

Third installment in the embarrassingly protracted saga of me finishing the hardwood work desk me & my grandfather started.

These photos were taken after an initial coat of teak stain&varnish, and one coat of polyurethane finish. I've done another coat of polyurethane since the photos were taken; which (I think) will be the last.

Please forgive me for allowing that hideous leopard-skin monstrosity into frame.

I plan to use solid brass knobs in the center of each drawer face for all the drawers except for the middle one. Not sure what I'm doing with that.

The desk top & drawer faces are blackwood; the desk body is "Tasmanian Oak"; the drawer bodies are Pine & plywood.
